CAS Foster Program Application

Thank you for your interest in becoming a foster parent for Columbia Animal Services! To get started, simply fill out the following form. This information will allow us better insight to your fostering preferences in order to appropriately match you with a compatible foster animal. Please take your daily schedule, housing, room or house mates and any leasing restrictions into consideration. We can’t wait to start saving lives together!

General Foster: Caring for animals not yet ready for adoption due to age, illness, or injury. This includes all species - dogs and cats.Adoption Ambassador (AA): Fostering dogs ready for adoption and helping them find their forever homes.Foster to Adopt (FTA): A two-week trial period with a shelter dog to ensure a good fit before officially adopting into your home.

Please note, you do not need to complete an application to participate in our foster to adopt program. Come to the shelter during business hours to get started. Any animal exposed to the shelter enviroment maybe at an higher risk of contracting an illness. Therefor we strongly recommend an initial minimum isolation period of 7-10 days.
